Thoughtful mechanic! Brought him some LED headlights I wanted installed and we discussed it and he opened box and read information; looked over headlights and said they were good ones. I asked him what if these are not better than the light already in car ? He put in one side and we turned on lights and compared old headlight to new one. So much better. I was so happy to have new white bright headlights that improved my night driving. Very fair price and he took time to think about, discuss and install. I will take my car here for next service. One other service rep at dealer told me if I put them in I would cause damage to car's electrical system because they were not Toyota brand parts; another place said the headlights I brought them were inferior (even thought they were rated in the top three of every review or article I read on the subject). Their brand was not mentioned in any of the reviews I read. I got them installed at Import Auto Service for 1/2 the cost of that shop. Tim, at Import Auto Repair, debunked the theory that the new lights would cause problems with real information.

Wonderful Service

Import Auto has been maintaining my classic (manual transmission) 2003 BMW 530i since they opened. They do first rate work, in timely fashion, at reasonable rates. Not only for German cars but all foreign makes -- they also keep my wife's 2008 Prius perfectly maintained. My BMW has 156,000 miles on it and runs like a top, and I expect they will help me keep it that way for many years and miles to come. They also provide loaner cars whenever needed! Highest recommendation!

We recently had auto work done at IAS, and as in the first time we took our car there, we were impressed by the professional know-how these people provide. In addition, they make every effort to complete the job as quickly as possible, and at a fair price. They have loaners too, which was a godsend for us, as we only have the one car. I would recommend this company wholeheartedly!

Import Auto has been taking expert care of my classic 2003 BMW 530i for years, always keeping it in tip top shape. The work is consistently excellent but just as important they are expert, fair, and straightforward -- I always feel like I'm getting a fair deal and honest information. Criss and Tim make everyone feel welcome -- the waiting room has as varied a group of people as the garage has a variety of cars, from American to Japanese to British and of course German. These guys keep me coming back! (And they also take great care of my partner's Prius!)

I don't often leave reviews, but this shop deserves 10 stars. At every level both Chris and Tim go above and beyond. These guys along with their employees put the customer first. I have a 2016 kia sorento that had a very bad rodent infestation. This affected several electrical and fuel systems. They were able to diagnose the problems quickly and communicated the processes along the way. Patient enough to deal with my insurance company all while putting me, the customer first. Thank you for the honest and reliable service.
